Personal Bio
I am excited to embark on this journey and be part of the EC trustees who share a fantastic vision for our community.

I am a retired qualified accountant. I have a huge passion for helping communities and those in need and over the past ten years I have been actively volunteering with a few charities such as Shishkiunj, Go Dharmic and MZ & KZ Foundation. I am a team member of Desi Ramblers and also chairperson and trustee a small UK charity called MEMC.

I believe that my experiences can add value to this team and have a positive impact on the work we do for our community.

I grew up in Luton and my parents were founder members of the Oshwal Community. I was involved in setting up the main Oshwal Yuvak Sang and also the youth club for Luton area.

My other interests include trekking, traveling, entertaining and organing events which empower women and take them out of their comfort zone in fun and creative ways.

Vision for OshwalVision for Oshwal Cultural & Heritage and Women’s empowerment portfolios

To support all nine areas of OAUK where required. Help and guide them with their programs and ideas that they are planning to host. We need to find ways of bringing back some of Oshwals that have stop coming to our centres, esp. our younger generation and their parents and try and include them by holding events that would be innovative and inclusive. With your support I hope that we can create a vibrant community where all Oshwals can enjoy our centres and regard them as a place to socialise regularly.
