Held on 16 July 2016, the Move and Connect event was a dance workout session that was not to be missed. There were over 40 ladies who were 10 years and older.
The Zumba instructor was so enthusiastic, energetic and engaging that he made this session feel like a party. There was a lot of variety of music and dance-styles ranging from Bhangra to Flamenco. The women had lots of fun and a fantastic work-out without realising.
In addition to this, we had three budding Bollywood dancers who showed the ladies the moves to a well-known Bollywood Garba song.
What’s more, the refreshments and lunch that were provided were quite healthy. Upon arrival, all the ladies were treated to a green smoothie to give them the energy for the first session. To replenish their energy for the second half, the ladies were given a snack of bananas and grapes. Finally, as a reward at the end of both sessions, a hearty, yet, healthy lunch consisting of a warm corn pesto salad; mixed couscous salad; idli; and a Moroccan orange dessert was enjoyed by all. This was accompanied by fresh-fruit detox water that was refreshing.
The event had lots of positive feedback as follows:
