The EMM in July was attended by 300 people. The attendance exceeded our expectation
due to the brand new MUSICAL BINGO brought to us from Nairobi by Bhanuben Bipin Shah.
About Bhanuben
Bhanuben had a stroke in 2004 but with sheer determination, willpower plus help and support from her family, she got on her feet within a year. Since her stroke, she has devoted her time to creating and conducting the musical game. She prepares and writes all the papers herself – which itself is time consuming. She has conducted the programme in Kenya but was the first time in Ekta Centre, London. Before her stroke, she used to participate in various programmes i.e. cookery, candle making, antakshari etc. and has won numerous prizes as well.
Bhanuben kindly conducted Musical Bingo and donated all the prizes for the winners at her own expense which we are all very grateful. The EMM committee and the sub-committee would like to thank Bhanuben for her generosity.
We would also like to thank our sponsors, Mrs Kantaben Shantilal Shah, for the lunch. As always the food was great. Everyone enjoyed the Bundi na Ladoo.
