Notice of Special General meeting

The members of OSHWAL ASSOCIATION OF THE UK are hereby given NOTICE in accordance with Clause 19.2 and 20.2 of the Constitution for a Special General Meeting (SGM) to be held on Sunday 22^nd March 2026 at 10am at Oshwal Centre, L.V. Hall, Coopers Lane Road, Northaw, Hertfordshire EN6 4DG, for the purpose set out below.

Resolution – Vote on confidence in the Executive Committee following the allegation of Money Laundering.

The resolution is with regards to a serious allegation made by Mr Nilesh Dhanraj Shah of money laundering by Executive Committee.

On the 18^th October 2025, we wrote to members to refute these allegations and stated an SGM would be called to provide members the opportunity to express confidence in the current Executive Committee and in line with our obligations to the Charities Commission.

The SGM will allow for the Executive Committee to present the outcome of the report from independent forensic accountants on whether these allegations are valid considering the definition of money laundering is concealing or disguising the origins of money obtained through criminal activity, to make it appear to be legitimate.

The agenda for the meeting which will commence at 10.00am is as follows:

Please bring your OAUK membership card with you for identification. The Executive Committee reserves the right to withhold admittance to anyone who is unable to provide adequate proof of his or her membership.
