OAUK Community Choir

Hi! My name is Priya and I’ll be leading the choir!

Perhaps you have never learnt to sing and want to use this opportunity to learn; perhaps you enjoy taking part in satsangs, prarthna or karaoke and want to sing in a different way and share your joy with others; or perhaps you want to try something new, learn to sing in front of an audience, and increase your confidence.

Extensive research shows that singing in groups brings physical, emotional and social benefits and that music has transformative power. Get involved in a friendly and joyful space and enjoy the restorative benefits taking part in this choir will bring! We will learn to sing whilst being supportive of each other, leaving each session feeling uplifted.

If this resonates with you, please register your interest by filling in the form below as fully as possible. And bring your friends along too! If you think someone you know loves singing and would benefit from being part of this type of new singing community, please share this with them too!

Sessions will run roughly one evening a week or twice a month at either Ekta Centre, Kingsbury, or at Oshwal Centre, Potters Bar – if you have a preference you can indicate this on the form.

Our community choir is open to everyone. No previous singing experience required.

Please note: places are limited. Whether or not you are offered a place, you will be notified about the next steps.

Thanks!
