Please take NOTICE that the 52nd Annual General Meeting of the Oshwal Association of the UK, South Area shall take place on Sunday 14th June 2026 at Oshwal Wallington Centre, 34 Mollison Drive, Wallington, SM6 9BY, to transact the following business:
Doors Open and Registration begins: 2.15pm, Meeting to Commence at: 3.00pm.
Please bring your OAUK membership card with you for identification.
The AGENDA for the meeting will be as follows:
- Prayers & Welcome by the Secretary of Oshwal Association of the UK, South Area
- Apologies for Absence
- Appointment of Returning Officers
- Approval of the Minutes of the 51st Annual General Meeting, South Area held on 14th June 2025
- Matters Arising from the Minutes of the 51st AGM held on Sunday 14th June 2025
- Report of the Area Secretary
- Treasurer Report for the year ending 31st December 2025
- Address by the South Area Chairman
- Address by the Honorary President/Executive Office Bearer of OAUK
- Any Other Business
- Dissolution of Committee
- Elections of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer followed by 8 Committee members.
- Address by elected Chairperson
Meeting to end at approx. 6.00pm followed by light refreshments.

In accordance with the revised regulations, we would like to request any member interested in putting themselves forward for the role of the Returning Officer (RO) to conduct the South Area elections must send in their details including full name and Oshwal Membership number by email to anupa.n.shah@oshwal.org by 5.00pm on Sunday 31st May 2026.
Two RO’s will be required at the election and where a greater number of interested members names are received, the committee will run a ballot to pick a selection. All members selected for the role of RO will have to attend a training session and an assessment on the Associations regulations on conducting the elections.
Please note anyone putting themselves forward for the role of the RO will not be eligible to vote in the elections or be able to stand for any position on the committee.
Only local area members are eligible to stand for the committee at local area elections.
Please ensure you bring your membership card for registration.
