A migraine is usually a moderate or severe headache felt as a throbbing pain on 1 side of the head. It is a common condition – according to the NHS, it affects around 1 in every 5 women and around 1 in every 15 men.
In this session we are joined by Dr Heather Angus-Leppan, Consultant neurologist and epilepsy lead at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We will explore different types of migraines, symptoms and treatments. There’s a powerful case study from the community too.
