On Sunday 10th September members of West area joined the Youth team in raising money for Hounslow Community Foodbox by organising a Sponsored walk.
The sponsored walk commenced at 1pm in Osterley Park, West London where all walkers and supporters met, registration was taken by Ketan and Arti and the warm up began by a round of skipping!
At 1.30pm the walk commenced with a twist, we were all given a route of the walk along with a Treasure Hunt exercise. Yes we were all tasked to answer questions on the park. All walkers had a great time looking for the clues and doing the 5.5km walk.
Many of the walkers started collecting their sponsorship a month before the event. The total amount collected from the Sponsored walk is £800.
A BIG BIG thank you to all the walkers and supporters of the event. The youth team will deliver the money to Hounslow Foodbox in the next coming days.
