As predicted in the scriptures, there has been a decay and decline from this ideal state of the Dharma. Various saints have been born who have successfully reinvigorated the faith.
Shrimad Rajchandra is one such soul. His mind and heart had a deep understanding and experience of the Truths of Bhagwan Mahavir, and yet he lived in this modern world, in the busy metropolis of Mumbai. He imparted wisdom of the highest order as well as guiding people in very practical ways. In the modern world, his impact on Gandhiji is well known.
We are delighted to have Param Pujya Bhaishree come and address us all. Bhaishree leads a large Ashram in Sayla, Gujarat, guides thousands of seekers of the truth and inspires many humanitarian activities. He is part of a continuous lineage from Shrimad to today, and has made time for us during his visit to the UK this May.
Bhaishree will discuss with us the relevance of Bhagwan’s message, by drawing on the life and teachings of Shrimad Rajchandra. His session with us will lift our spirits and motivate us by drawing on our ancient wisdom to help us live harmoniously in our day to day lives, as well as taking us closer to Moksha.
અર્વાચીન યુગમાં ભગવાન મહાવીરના માર્ગની સુસંગતતા
સર્વજ્ઞ ભગવાન મહાવીર સ્વામીનું સમસ્ત જીવન અનુકરણીય હતું. કેવળજ્ઞાનના આત્મિક ઓજસમાંથી પ્રગટતા તેમના બોધામૃતો, આપણને સૌને ઉન્નત વિચાર સાથે ઉમદા જીવનશૈલીનું માર્ગદર્શન અર્પે છે.
આગમોમાં નિરૂપેલા કથન અનુસાર, કાળક્રમે, જૈન ધર્મના આદર્શોનો લોપ તથા ક્ષય થઈ રહ્યો છે. તેમ છતાં પણ, અનેક જ્ઞાની મહાત્માઓએ ધર્મની શ્રદ્ધાને સફળતાપૂર્વક પુન:જીવિત કરી છે.
શ્રીમદ્ રાજચંદ્રજી, આવા જ એક જ્ઞાની મહાત્મા છે. અર્વાચીન યુગની મોહમયી મુંબઈ નગરીમાં નિવાસ કરતા હોવા છતાં, તેમના અંતઃકરણમાં ભગવાન મહાવીરના બોધની ગહન સમજણ સહિતનું સમ્યકજ્ઞાન હતું. તેમણે જનસમાજને વ્યવહારિક શૈલી સહિતનું, ધર્મનું ઊંડું માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું હતું. મહાત્મા ગાંધીજી પર તેમના આદર્શવચનોની અગાધ અસર સુપ્રસિદ્ધ છે.
અમને જણાવતા અતિ હર્ષ થાય છે કે, પરમ પૂજ્ય ભાઈશ્રી અહીં પધારીને આપણને બધાને સંબોધશે. ગુજરાતના સાયલા ગામમાં, એક વિશાળ આશ્રમનું પરમ પૂજ્ય ભાઈશ્રી નેતૃત્વ કરે છે અને હજારો સાધકોને સત્ય મોક્ષમાર્ગનું માર્ગદર્શન આપે છે. આશ્રમની અનેક જનહિતની અને માનવતાવાદી પ્રવૃત્તિઓના તેઓ પ્રેરક છે. શ્રીમદ્ રાજચંદ્રજીથી સતત ચાલતી આવતી જ્ઞાની મહાત્માઓના વંશવેલાના તેઓ એક ભાગ છે. મે મહિનામાં, UKની મુલાકાત દરમિયાન તેમણે ખાસ આપણા માટે સમય ફાળવ્યો છે.
શ્રીમદ્ રાજચંદ્રજીની જીવનકળા અને ઉપદેશામૃતના આધારે પરમ પૂજ્ય ભાઈશ્રી, ભગવાન મહાવીરના બોધવચનોની સુસંગતતા વિશે ચર્ચા કરશે. તેમનું આ આધ્યાત્મિક સત્ર આપણી ચેતનાને ઉન્નત બનાવશે. આપણા રોજિંદા જીવનમાં સુમેળપૂર્વક જીવવામાં તેમજ મોક્ષની નિકટ જવા માટે આ સત્રથી, આપણી પ્રજ્ઞા પ્રેરિત થશે.
