Spooktacular Halloween 2018
Has a nice ring to it right? On 23rd October, the new Youth Committee kept traditions alive by hosting the annual West Area Halloween party.
Every year this is a highly anticipated event as many children enjoy showing off their fun and innovative costumes that they have been planning for days if not weeks! This year we had lots of Superhero’s and Super-duper Villains as that does seem to be the biggest trend this century.
We had various activities like a colouring station, Mummify your parent, Witch hat ring toss, Musical Monsters, and the grand finale of Apple bobbing! We also created a paint mural to commemorate the event.
The afternoon was finished with mini pizzas and party bags, which were kindly donated by one of the volunteers and her family. Congratulations to all the winners for best costume and the games and as always a heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped making the day such a success! See pictures online.
